Sometimes when you are new to an area, it is hard to get the word out that you are there! In this case, that is good for you… If you are getting married that is.
We are offering to photograph your wedding for $200 if it is taking place in May. You will get a DVD with all of your photos, an interactive online gallery to share with friends and family, and access to hundreds of prints and gifts.
We are offering all of the quality and service we normally provide at a fraction of the price and there is only one catch (you knew there would be)… we want you to rate our service and allow us to use some of your pictures as examples… that’s it!
You will need to call us soon as this is limited to five weddings. (541) 592-9574 – David

One of the things we have been hearing is, “You have a lot of gifts, can you add them to your site?” Well, as usual, we took it a little farther… we not only added them to the site, we modified the cart so you can now edit pictures, add and change borders, include messages and a whole lot more. Here’s a link to our new cart for you to view and play with: Viewing Gallery. One word of caution; don’t finalize an order – these are live galleries!
Hope you enjoy them

The Rogue River Loop is a scenic drive through the mountains of Southern Oregon from Merlin to Wolf Creek and back. The drive includes historic towns and buildings from the mid-1800’s, the some of the most dramatic parts of the Rogue River itself, covered bridges and so much more.
This will be an ongoing project because there is so much to cover. Our intent is to not only provide an overall story and photos, but to disect the trip into pieces of interest. This project will include photography and stories. You can view updated photos and stories at: www.stock.davidcrockettphoto.com/projects/rogue_loop/ If you have editorial needs in this area, please let us know.

Our next photo outing is in the works. We will be traveling from Grants Pass, OR. across to Crescent City, CA. and down the coast to San Francisco. From there, it’s across to the valley and Hanford, CA. Finally, we head South to Glendale, CA. for a couple of days.
Then it is time to head North again – straight up I-5 past Sacramento, Redding, Mount Shasta and into Oregon.
This trip begins March 19 with a return date of March 27. We are available for assignments en route and we encourage you to let us know if you have any photo needs along the way.
You’re going to want to keep a close eye on this. We are adding some fantastic photo tours to our agenda that will provide some of the most exciting opportunities you are apt to find in the Pacific North West.
One of the changes we have made is your ability to join us when we go on some of our stock photo excursions. As an example: we are going to Brookings, Oregon to photograph the area. If you let us know in advance, we will make arrangements for you to join us. The only stipulation is we limit the number who can go with us and this option is not available for all trips. You will want to contact us and let us know you are interested.
We are very active in the projects we take on. In fact, you will find a lot of information here that is meant to keep you up to date and informed. An important tool for editors is our projects category. You can use this category to see what we are working on and request specific subjects within that project. On the other hand, you may see something we have already photographed but haven’t added to our catelog. This would be a great way to get First editorial use of the images. We hope this helps to make your job a little easier. Just a reminder – we don’t charge a research fee!

Located in Southern Oregon and surrounded by beauty

Old wooden covered bridge in Wolf Creek, Oregon about 25 miles North of Grants Pass, OR
Wolf Creek, OR is a little town nestled in the Oregon hills about 25 miles North of Grants Pass. It is home to the Wolf Creek Tavern (Inn), an historic bed and breakfast that is owned by the state. In addition, the General Store, located across the street, is an equally historic site that is the town grocery and one of two gas stations.
We will be photographing this picturesque town and interviewing a few of its inhabitants.
